Chapter-2 Anthem

Chapter 2 added a love story to the mix. I found this considerably interesting due to the issues that the novella covers. The way the Golden One is described really made me picture a beautiful woman; a feet no other book has been able to accomplish in a very long time. I also think Liberty 5-3000's name might be symbolic of the uncharacteristic affection and feeling which is brought into Equality 7-2521's otherwise damp and uninteresting life (except for the underground cavern of course). She seems to just be able to brighten his day every time she comes within sight of him. The chapter also closes on a well enough note. It seems that the Saint of the Pyre passed on his yearning to have knowledge on to Equality 7-2521 at a young age. By the end he seems like he dying to know the Unspeakable Word.
